Downgrade iOS 5 Beta 6 to iOS 4.3.3 – Exit Recovery Mode Loop

As apple released iOS 5 beta 6 for iPhone 3GS, iPhone4, iPad, iPad 2, iPod Touch 3G and iPod Touch 4G many developers have updated there devices to the new iOS 5 beta 6 and they didn’t prefer to Waite for the completed version, So here’s the surprise that you can downgrade your iOS 5 beta 6 firmware to iOS 4.3.3 by simple way follow the steps below.

How to downgrade iOS 5 beta 6 to iOS 4.3.3


Step 1: Download the respective firmware file for your i-Device and place it on the desktop.

Step 2: Run TinyUmbrella and click on the “Start TSS Server” Button.

NOTE – If you are downgrading to 4.3.5, skip the above step.
Connect you iDevice to your PC and place it into DFU mode. [To place your device into DFU mode follow the steps below]
  • Connect your iOS device to your computer.

  • Turn it off.

  • Start iTunes.

  • Hold Power and Home buttons together for 10 seconds or so.

  • Release Power button but keep holding the Home button until your computer recognizes a new USB device.

  • iTunes will now recognize your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.

Step 3: If you get the message below then it means that you’ve successfully placed your device into DFU mode.



Step 4: On the iPhone menu in iTunes, hold shift and press the restore button.



Step 5: iTunes will now ask you to locate the IPSW file. Point it towards the firmware file which you downloaded and placed on the desktop.

Step 6: iTunes will then restore your iPhone with the firmware. This process will take about 10 minutes and iTunes will notify you once the process is complete. The phone will then restart.

Step 7: After the restore, if you encounter an error like 1011, 1013, 1015 ; just ignore them (the firmware has actually been successfully installed).

Step 8: You just have to kick your phone out of recovery mode. To do this open up recboot-which you downloaded above. Once it loads up, press the exit recovery button and it will kick your phone out of recovery mode. The phone will then reboot and you will be boot into iOS 4.3.3.
